The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) reported that it incinerated more than five tons of narcotics, that were recovered after investigating criminal cases. The incineration was carried out in the XXVIII Infantry Battalion, located in the city of Tijuana, with the assistance of military authorities and the representative of the institution’s internal control body, who supervised the process. This ensured compliance with the Program for the Destruction of Narcotics and with the Federal Code of Penal Procedures and National Criminal Procedures.
