América and Chivas come together for Mexico’s most recent “clásico” on Wednesday October 26th.

América and Guadalajara meet in the second semi-final match of the MX Cup 2016, the day after Toluca host Querétaro in the first semifinal match.

The dates and times of the matches were announced on Thursday by the Mexican Professional. The highlight of this semi-final is clearly the battle between the two long-standing rivals and giants of Mexican soccer. The match takes places in the iconic Estadio Azteca, and kicks off at 7pm.

The day before on Tuesday 25th, also at 7pm, sees Los Gallos Blancos visit Toluca’s Alberto “Chivo” Córdoba stadium in the match that will decide the first of the Copa MX finalists.

The winners of those matches will meet a week later, at a date yet to be confirmed, to slug it out to get their hands on Mexican soccer’s premier trophy.
