Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) legislators requested that the Michoacán Auditor General investigate the suspected illegal use of a State Police helicopter by singer Belinda during Pope Francis’ visit.
The PRI members urged the investigation and called for the corresponding sanctions to be applied to all public officials involved in supplying the public resources.
The also asked that copies of the flight record be sent to Silvano Aureoles’ Council.
The legislators said that this is not a matter of frivolity or maliciousness. It is a matter of the utmost importance for the people of Michoacán, because public resources should not be used for personal benefit.
