Agricultural, Land and Urban Development Secretariat (Sedatu) State Delegate Jaime Ernesto Vázquez Montes was shot and killed while driving in the city of Colima, in the state of the same name.
Colima’s State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE) reported that the murder occurred near midnight July 6.
“The occupants of another vehicle fired shots into Vázquez Montes’ truck in the Las Huertas del Sol neighborhood in Colima,” said the PGJE.
“Because of the secrecy required by law in such matters, more information will be provided only when the investigation is completed,” it added.
