The Mexico City government have said that rain prevailing in several areas of the city will make driving more hazardous and have asked motorists to drive with caution and use a seat belt.

They said that at the moment rainfall is being recorded in the Álvaro Obregón, Benito Juárez, Cuajimalpa, Iztacalco, Magdalena Contreras, Miguel Hidalgo and Tlalpan boroughs.

A bank of fog is also reported on the Mexico-Toluca highway from kilometer 21 to 24, which is also slowing traffic.
