Mexican authorities say they have extradited a fugitive on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list to Dallas, where she is accused of murder for the alleged contract-killing of her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend.

The Mexican Attorney General’s Office says in a statement that it delivered the suspect to U.S. authorities, identifying her simply as Brenda with no last name given.

A Mexican federal official who was not authorized to discuss the case publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity Thursday confirmed that the woman in question is Brenda Delgado.

Delgado was detained last April at a home in the city of Torreon, in the northern Mexican state of Coahuila.

She faces charges of capital murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution in connection with the shooting death of dentist Kendra Hatcher.
