Green Sunday, to be held on May 21 in the forests of Mexico City, will promote healthy lifestyles for residents of the capital and promote actions to improve the environment.

This event, led by the local Environmental Secretariat, will take place in the forests of Chapultepec, San Juan de Aragón and Tlalpan, where the citizens can attend and participate in the activities free of charge.

In the different venues, visitors can buy organic products such as legumes, mole, honey, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, as well as aromatic and ornamental plants at the Local Produce Markets.

Yoga classes will be taught at the Botanical Garden of Bosque de Chapultepec, at access 8 of the San Juan de Aragón Forest and next to the main gate of the Tlalpan Forest.

Green Sunday is an environmental education program that takes place on the third Sunday of every month with the aim of promoting local foods and interaction with nature.
