The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has launched the Phase I Environmental Alert in Mexico City. It is the eighth alert of this kind since the beginning of the year, with CAMe informing that ozone levels have again risen above the 150 points limit in the air quality scale. The Miguel Hidalgo borough registered 155 points this afternoon, setting off the Alert.

Due to this, on Wednesday vehicles with red and blue stickers, with license plates ending in 3 and 4 or 9 and 0, as well as holograms 1, 2, 0 and double 00, will have to suspend all circulation.

Up-to-date ‘Hoy No Circula’ and Environmental Alert information can be found at the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis’ (CAMe) website or Twitter account.
