The dollar closed the week with a loss, finishing at a selling price of 19.50 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for 18.05 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 19.117 pesos per dollar.
Foreign exchange operations will resume on Tuesday, March 21, because Monday is a holiday commemorating of the birth of Benito Juárez.
