Ricardo Sandoval Ortega, of the CFE, held a work meeting with Gov. Moreira Valdez.

Ricardo Sandoval Ortega, Northern Gulf Divisional Manager of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), held a work meeting with Coahuila Gov. Rubén Moreira Valdez, where he said that the state ranks second nationally with the highest degree of electric network implementation, which allows the state to have better competitiveness and become a magnet for new investments.

During the meeting, the projects the state is working on together with the CFE were discussed. Among them is the Air to Underground Power Lines Conversion Program, which will be implemented in the Arteaga, Candela, Cuatro Ciénagas and Guerrero municipalities.

Sandoval Ortega and Moreira Valdez also discussed the Primary Care Areas Electrification programs, which will bring electricity to the municipalities which most need it, such as Múzquiz, Parras de la Fuente, Saltillo, Monclova, San Pedro and Torreón.

The agreements signed between the CFE and the state government in 2015, such as clean energy projects, were also reviewed.
