380 Yucatán Officials Were Punished for Violating Human Rights

The sanctions depended on the seriousness of the violations

The Human Rights Commission of the State of Yucatán (Codhey) details a total of 380 state and municipal public officials who were punished for violations of human rights in its annual activity report.

In a statement, the Codhey explained that the sanctions consisted of warnings, arrests, temporary suspensions without pay and definitive dismissals, depending on the seriousness of the violations.
