MEXICO CITY – Industrialists of the country, seek to become partners of U.S. companies and ask to change the paradigm of contractors or subcontractors of foreign investors.

The president of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers, Manuel Herrera Vega, and the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra), Rodrigo Alpizar Vallejo, are to participate in the Meeting of the High Level of Economic Dialogue held by the governments of Mexico and the United States, headed by the Economy Secretary Ildefonso Guajardo and Chancellor Claudia Ruíz Massieu and Penny Pritzker, Secretary of Commerce of the United States.

Including the presence of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, they extended the interest of domestic industry to participate in a series of open opportunities in the energy agenda that can consolidate North America, especially Mexico and the United States, as the most competitive region in the world.
