APPS & BOTS

As we’ve come to expect, Apple has announced a new iOS after announcing their newest phones (iPhone 8 and iPhone X). This update became available on September 19, 2017 and it comes with a lot of changes, especially in the design areas. Here at the News we’re going to walk you through some of the new features, common bugs and everything that iOS 11 entails.

Control Center: The control center had already changed in the previous big update and now we’ve got yet another change. Now you are free to customize it in whatever way you’d like. Sure the design might take some getting used to, but that’s always the case isn’t it?

Siri: Siri now has a more natural voice and is supposedly more intelligent than ever, improvements include translating English into multiple different languages, among them Spanish and Chinese.

Lock Screen: The Lock screen and notification center are now one. This will make it easier for you to access your missed notifications.

Maps: the maps feature has been improved upon, making it smarter and more importantly, safer. You can now see inside buildings like shopping centres or even airports to help you out if you get easily lost. Navigation has also included car mode, which means if you activate it you won’t get any notifications while driving.

These are just some of the updates of the incredible new iOS 11, which also comes with easier way to move files, more interconnectivity between devices and of course one of the most important features, the photos are saved in a different format so you can save space.
