Mexico City banks sold the dollar at 18.70 pesos Wednesday, 10 centavos more than the day before. Banks purchased the dollar for 17.79 pesos.
The euro was sold at 20.96 pesos, an 11-centavo increase from the day before, while the pound and yen were sold at 24.80 and 0.198 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.3689 pesos per dollar.
