At the mid-day session, banks in Mexico City offered the U.S. dollar for 18.85 pesos, five centavos less than its opening price, and sold it at a minimum of 18.04 pesos.
The euro lost six centavos compared with the beginning of the day, selling at up to 21.22 pesos, while the yen is being sold at 0.195 pesos.
