Daily Exchange: Dollar Up to 19.73 Pesos

The euro gained 11 centavos to close at 21.99 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 24.44 pesos and 0.218 pesos, respectively

The dollar gained seven centavos to close at a selling price of 19.73 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Friday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.54 pesos.

The euro gained 11 centavos to close at 21.99 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 24.44 pesos and 0.218 pesos, respectively.

Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 19.2994 pesos per dollar.
