The dollar gained six centavos to close at a selling price of 19.39 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Tuesday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.21 pesos.
The euro declined 10 centavos to close at 21.39 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 23.43 pesos and 0.213 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.9531 pesos per dollar.
