Daily Exchange: Dollar Drops 31 Centavos to Close at 22.04 Pesos

The dollar fell 21 centavos to close at a selling price of 22.04 pesos on Friday, at the Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks sold the dollar for a minimum of 20.85 pesos.

The euro dropped 22 centavos 23.53 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 27.18 and 0.220 pesos, respectively.

A few minutes after Donald Trump had assumed his role as the president of the United States, the dollar fell nine centavos from its opening price.

Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 21.7002 pesos per dollar.
