Road Safety Concerns Piqued by Rain in Mexico City

The Mexico City government have said that rain prevailing in several areas of the city will make driving more hazardous and have asked motorists to drive with caution and use a seat belt.

They said that at the moment rainfall is being recorded in the Álvaro Obregón, Benito Juárez, Cuajimalpa, Iztacalco, Magdalena Contreras, Miguel Hidalgo and Tlalpan boroughs.

A bank of fog is also reported on the Mexico-Toluca highway from kilometer 21 to 24, which is also slowing traffic.
