City Manager Records Failed Prostitution Raid

CULIACÁN, SINALOA, 02ABRIL2014.- En los últimos años la prostitución en la ciudad de Culiacán ha ido en aumento, en distintas zonas, especialmente en el primer cuadro de la ciudad se observan sexo servidoras la gran mayoría de sexo masculino, en busca de clientes, la falta de empleo obliga a las personas a recurrir a este tipo de empleo. The City Manager of the Miguel Hidalgo borough, Arne aus den Ruthen Haag, recorded on Wednesday a raid against prostitution in the Verónica Anzures neighborhood.

The officials arrived at the crossroad between Bahía de Corrientes and Ejército Nacional, an area where neighbors have complained about prostitution.

At the site were at least five people offering sexual services, while three policemen undertook the raid.

At first Arne aus den Ruthen Haag explained to two of them that, according Article 24 of the city’s Law of Civic Culture, they had to be taken before the civic judge due to complaints from neighbors.

Despite arguing there were no proofs to accuse them of prostitution, the women agreed to go before the judge but insisted on using their car to get there.

As soon as they got into the vehicle, a white Ka with MEX2018 license plates, they started the car, dragged a policeman over a couple of meters and managed to get away.

After being questioned by Arne aus den Ruthen Haag if they had written down the license plates, the officers answered that they had not.
