The dollar rose 12 centavos on Wednesday, coming to a close at a selling price of 18.34 pesos in Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 16.80 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 17.9671 pesos per dollar.
