Brazilian Legend Ronaldo Heaps Praise on Chicharito

Since his arrival at Bayer Leverkusen, the fame of Mexican striker Javier Hernández has increased, as have the flattering comments and praise he has been receiving from some of the best players in the history of soccer.

During his visit to Mexico for his induction into the Hall of Fame in Pachuca, former Brazilian striker Ronaldo said Hernández should be considered as one of the best attackers in today’s football.

“For me he is a big talent. Wherever he has gone he has scored a lot of goals. There is no doubt he has a lot of quality,” he said.

Hernández is currently preparing with the Mexico national football team for the elimination duel against the United States, to decide who will reach the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Hernández will try to tie with Jared Borgetti as all-time leading goal scorer. Borgetti, a former Santos player, currently leads with 46 goals, while Hernández has just one less, with 45.
