The Autonomous University of the State of Mexico’s (UAEM) Tenacingo campus is offering a diploma in teaching, in order to prepare and make academic work more professional, particularly with respect to new trends in the use of information technology and communication to support educational activities in classrooms.

Through this refresher course, carried out in a blended learning format, 23 middle and high school teachers of the southern region of the state are updating their knowledge in these subjects. The teachers belong to the School of Bachelors of the State of Mexico (COBAEM) and the College of Science and Technology of the State of Mexico (CECyTEM).

From March 5 to June 25, teachers will be taught how to use new tools necessary for teaching. They will go through four modules regarding issues such as communication and group dynamics, innovative learning tools, lesson planning and learning evaluation.

The exercise is being carried out by a combined effort between the Continued Education Department and the UAEM Distance Learning Program.
