Travellers Continue Leaving Mexico City on Various Highways

Mexico City’s Center for Command, Control, Computation, Communications and Contact announced that the Mexico-Puebla Highway is the route through which the most people are leaving the city, with 50 vehicles leaving per minute and 40 entering Thursday.

Through its Twitter account, @ciudad_segura, the body reported that the departure of travellers to various tourist destinations in the city through different routes connecting with the capital continues.

On the Mexico-Querétaro and Mexico-Cuernavaca highways, 40 vehicles leave per minute and 45 and 26 enter, respectively.

On the highway to Toluca, 38 vehicles depart for every 25 that enter Mexico City, while on the highway to Oaxtepec, 30 vehicles leave for every eight that enter.

The highway with the lowest density is the Mexico-Pachuca highway, with 20 cars leaving for every 31 entering.
