Tláhuac Case Continues

The head of the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office (PGJ), Edmundo Garrido Osorio, said that all the lines of investigation are now open following the events of last Thursday in Tláhuac, where Felipe de Jesús Pérez Luna, otherwise known as “El Ojos,” was killed.

He said that the PGJ is coordinating with federal authorities such as the Navy Secretariat (Semar), the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and units from the State of Mexico. This is done in an effort to dismantle the operation of criminal gangs.

The legal situation of seven of the 14 detainees will be solved this Thursday.
