Osorio Chong Welcomes Repatriates in Coahuila

Interior Secretary Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong informed on Wednesday about the agreements signed with various companies to provide employment to repatriated Mexicans.

During a visit to Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Osorio Chong claimed there will be an increase in aid programs to lessen the amount of nationals seeking to migrate north.


After welcoming a group of repatriates, Osorio Chong also said that the opening of 11 entry points to the country have enabled a more comprehensive and adequate support for people returning to the country, and noted the excellent work carried out by migration authorities.

Osorio Chong explained about the availability of employment options in their places of origin as well as educational programs to validate their studies in the country. He also said that their new skills will help them carry on with their lives in Mexico.
