President of the Revolutionary Institutional Party (PRI) Enrique Ochoa Reza called the three-out-of-three declaration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) a “lie” and a “farce.”

A three-out-of-three declaration is a legally-required public declaration of income and assets for public officials.

López Obrador, president of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) and candidate for the 2018 presidential election, claims an income of 50,000 pesos ($2700) per month from various sources, and claims not to own any vehicles or properties.

The two-time presidential candidate claims that his income comes from his position within Morena, speaking engagements and royalties from his books.

Ochoa Reza said that the declaration proves that López Obrador is “a liar who doesn’t believe in transparency.”
