Sederec to offer up to 100,000 pesos for groups of four migrants who are working together on projects for improving Mexico City

As part of the 2017 Migrant Support Fund, the government’s Rural Development and Equity Secretariat (Sederec) will provide 220,000 pesos ($12,310) to support 284 projects that will develop Mexico City.

The agency explained that it is supporting 277 projects with amounts of 30,000 pesos for individual migrants, and supporting four further projects with amounts of 90,000 pesos, for groups of three migrants.

Documents should be submitted by those interested in participating and must arrive to the Directorate of Attention to Guests, Migrants and their Families, Fray Servando Teresa de Mier 198, in Centro Historico, Cuauhtémoc between August 7 and 31.

The agency will then have until September 29 to publish the results.
