Meade Kuribreña Highlights Progress in Crusade Against Hunger

José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, head of the Social Development Secretariat (Sedesol), said that municipalities served by the National Crusade Against Hunger have experienced a significant improvement in their needs and recalled that the agency has made the commitment to install 5,100 community kitchens this year.

During an interview, Meade Kuribreña said that the territorial deployment of the program has experienced significant progress and that 400 municipalities in particular were attended to by the Crusade.

There will be no budget cuts in social development programs, added the secretary.
