High School Students Will Learn How to Prevent Sexual Crimes

MÉXICO, D.F., 01JULIO2015.- Alicia Rosas Rubí, titular de la Fiscalía Central de Investigación para la Atención de Delitos Sexuales, informó que Julio César Moreno Picazo, es el probable responsable de los delitos de abuso sexual agravado, corrupción de menores y violación, un sujeto, que vivía en la colonia Bosques, perímetro de la delegación Álvaro Obregón, fue consignado por la Procuraduría General de Justicia del Distrito Federal y puesto a disposición del juez penal en turno del Reclusorio Preventivo Varonil Oriente. Mexico City State Attorney General’s Office (PGJDF) staff will give courses to high school students sexual crime prevention courses to strengthen violence-free decision making.

As a part of the “Sexual Crime Prevention and Attention among Young People” campaign, specialists in sexual aggression cases will give theoretical workshops to students.

During the course, students will receive information about rape, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, statutory rape, incest and pornography.

The workshops are planned to be given in groups of up to 40 students and will teach young people how to take preventive measures to avoid sexual aggressions and what to do if one becomes a victim of these crimes.

District Attorney, Alicia Rosas Rubí said that the PGJDF has six agencies specialized in sexual crimes.
