MEXICO CITY – Canadian mining company Goldcorp says it is suspending operations at Mexico's largest gold mine as a weeklong blockade by a trucking contractor and local residents drags on.The company said in a statement Monday that it plans to seek criminal charges against the protest leaders at the Peñasquito mine in Zacatecas state.Protesters have a range of demands, including building a medical clinic for a local community.Goldcorp implied the protest began after it recently tried to diversify its transportation supply plan.
