GE wants to double its purchases from Mexican providers

Jeffrey R. Immelt, president of General Electric (GE) expressed his company’s confidence in the Mexican market during a meeting with President Enrique Peña Nieto at Los Pinos. Immelt said that GE wants to double its purchases from Mexican providers.

Immelt also said that proof of the company’s commitment is the recent expansion of it’s Global Center of Operations in Monterrey, Nuevo León and the opening of it’s oil and gas plants in the same state, in the municipality of Guadalupe, which will help fulfill the demand for machinery in the energy sector.
