Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal, head of the Economy Secretariat (SE), said that the granting of permits to import gasoline and diesel will be healthy for the fuel market in terms of competition. Inflation is measured according to the average prices of a set of goods in the economy, so anything that can assist with improving costs is positive, said Guajardo Villarreal.
It should be noted that Mexico experienced an economic growth of 2.5 percent by the end of 2015 and that it has strengthened its sources of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), which will make other countries want to invest here, he added.
Establishing successful negotiations with Asia will boost the presence of Mexico as a platform for international integration and value transformation.
“Certainly, Mexico faces now the winds of instability in the financial markets. But thanks to the joint actions of the federal government ant the private sector, it maintains a strong position still,” said Guajardo Villarreal.
