Deathtoll Rises to 230 After Mexico 7.1 Quake

Mexico’s National Civil Defense Coordination and the Interior Secretariat (Segob) reported that the death toll has risen to 230 in the states affected by the 7.1. magnitude earthquake that hit the country’s central region Tuesday afternoon.

Out of the total deaths, 100 correspond to Mexico City, 69 to Morelos, 43 to Puebla, 13 to the State of Mexico, four to Guerrero and one to Oaxaca.
