The dollar rose eight centavos to close at 21.17 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Thursday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.97 pesos.
The euro rose ten centavos to close at 22.33 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.28 pesos and 0.212 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.7051 pesos per dollar.
