The dollar declined five centavos on Monday to close at a selling price of 21.05 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.86 pesos.
The euro declined four centavos to close at 22.29 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.03 pesos and 0.213 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.5521 pesos per dollar.
