The dollar rose six centavos to close at a selling price of 20.76 pesos on Thursday at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks sold the dollar for a minimum of 19.57 pesos.
The euro declined 74 centavos to close at 22 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.01 pesos and 0.206 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.4162 pesos per dollar.
