Mexico City banks sold the dollar for 19.20 pesos at market close Tuesday, five centavos more than at close the day before. Dollars were bought for 18.43 pesos.
The euro was sold for 21.45 pesos, 23 centavos more than at close Monday. The pound and yen were sold at 25.65 and 0.274, respectively.
The official exchange rate, set by Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) was 18.8966 pesos per dollar.
