Mexico City banks sold the dollar for 19.09 pesos at close Tuesday, four centavos more than on Monday. Banks bought dollars for 18.29.
The euro rose four centavos to close at 20.93. The pound and yen were sold at 25.03 and 0.197, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank set the official exchange rate at 18.8114.
