Mexico City banks sold the dollar at a maximum price of 18.93 pesos, eight centavos more than compared to yesterday’s close, and bought dollars at a minimum of 18.11 pesos.
The euro reached a maximum sale price of 20.79 pesos, representing a rise of seven centavos compared with the closing of the previous day. Meanwhile, the pound was sold at 24.84 pesos and the yen up to 1.190 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 16.0950 pesos.
