Mexico City banks sold the dollar at a maximum of 18.85 Tuesday, a 15-centavo increase from the day before, and bought dollars for 18.07 pesos.
The euro rose six centavos to be sold at a maximum of 20.72 pesos, and the pound and yen were sold at 24.63 and 0.192 pesos, respectively.
The official exchange rate is 18.5719 per dollar, according to Mexico’s Central Bank.
