MEXICO CITY — Banks in Mexico City sold the U.S. dollar for up to 18.28 pesos in afternoon trading, three centavos higher than its price at the market’s opening, while the lowest purchase price is 17.49 pesos.
The euro reached a sale quote of 20.75 pesos at midday, five centavos less compared to the beginning of the day — while the yen is offered at up to 0.18 pesos per unit in banks.
