On Monday, the dollar declined 10 centavos, closing at a selling price of 21.17 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for 19.98 pesos.
The euro declined 36 centavos to close at 22.68 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.34 pesos and 0.224 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.8729 pesos per dollar.
