The dollar declined 11 centavos Wednesday to close at a selling price of 20.70 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for 19.47 pesos.
The euro rose 47 centavos to close at 22.74 pesos, while the pound closed at 26.05 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.29 pesos per dollar.
