The dollar declined 40 centavos to close at a selling price of 19.33 pesos in Mexico City currency exchanges Monday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.14 pesos.
The euro declined 50 centavos to close at 21.49 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 23.82 pesos and 0.218 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.8786 pesos per dollar.
