The dollar declined seven centavos to close at a selling price of 19.32 pesos Monday in Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.14 pesos.
The euro declined seven centavos to close at 21.18 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 23.55 pesos and 0.209 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.8887 pesos per dollar.
