On Wednesday, the dollar closed at a selling price of 18.99 pesos in Mexico City currency exchanges, a seven-centavo decline compared to Tuesday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 17.80 pesos.
The euro lost 10 centavos to close at 20.78 pesos, while the pound and yen were sold at 23.21 pesos and 0.208 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.5894 pesos.
