On Tuesday, the dollar declined four centavos to close at 18.93 pesos in Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for 17.75 pesos.
The euro remained at 20.60 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 23.01 pesos and 0.205 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.5147 pesos per dollar.
