Daily Exchange: Dollar Down Three Centavos, Selling at 18.75 Pesos

MEXICO CITY — At mid-session, Mexico City banks are selling the U.S. dollar at a maximum of 18.75 pesos, down three centavos compared to Friday’s opening, and it is being bought at a minimum of 17.91 pesos.

In turn, the euro lost nine centavos since the beginning of the day, selling at a higher price of 20.79 pesos, while the yen maintains within its usual range at 0.182 pesos for sale.

According to Banco Base financial group, markets are closely following the opinion of United States Federal Reserve President Janet Yellen, about the possibility of adjustments to interest rates at its meeting in July.
