The dollar rose 17 centavos to close at a selling price of 20.07 pesos, at Mexico City currency exchanges on Wednesday. Banks bought the dollar for a minimum of 18.55 pesos.
The Bank of Mexico (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 19.6007 pesos per dollar.
